Apparently, someone has figured out a business model for jetpacks that actually work.
The problem with jetpacks has always been propellant. First, it’s difficult to squeeze much go-juice into a backpack that also has to accommodate navigation and flight control, and secondly, the more propellant you have, the heavier your pack gets, and thus more propellant is needed to lift you, etc, etc.
Looks like someone has finally solved that problem. Granted, this won’t fly you to the office, but I can easily see resorts renting these guys out to tourists. And I am going to be among the first to rent one!
